The Rufous Treepie (Dendrocitta vagabunda) is a treepie, native to the Indian Subcontinent and adjoining parts of Southeast Asia. It is a member of the Corvidae (crow) family. It is long tailed and has loud musical calls making it very conspicuous. It is found commonly in open scrub, agricultural areas, forests as well as urban gardens. Like other corvids it is very adaptable, omnivorous and opportunistic in feeding.[wikipedia]

Wow!!! you saw two on a tree together! I followed this bird for so long at Kolkata, but didn’t get a single shot worth posting!
They are usually in paiirs and sometimes make sweet melodies :)…So photography your love or nature? or both?
Nature is my first love, but its impossible to not want to capture the moments! And photography is as addictive too!
I do it for the same reasons, nature paints infinite pictures for us every day.I also do it to meet people and convince them to plant fruiting trees and educating children.
Yes…spreading the word and education…that’s another goal. π
